Honda CB100n — a new beginning?

Reading Time: < 1 minute

So, this is the first post on my motorcycles section on my blog…

In January this year, I purchased a 1979 Honda CB100n, a bike known in it’s day for being a “cafe racer”. In short, this basically means it’s made for riding short distances quickly.

I bought this bike knowing a few things: it’s got some issues with the engine, it’s not an easy bike to ride, etc.

The engine issues, for the most-part, are fairly trivial to work on; partially due to it’s age, and partially due to the simplicity. As someone who grew up working on cars and bikes, this is a dream come true, since it means I don’t need to do much heavy work to successfully get it running.

From purchase, it was running (albeit a little rough), however the clutch has given in on me during a short ride; so I need to rebuild that (post coming soon).

I look forward to posting about it more, and hopefully I can capture some videos to show you too!

Thanks for reading this boring post; I hope to see you reading more soon.
